General precautions for stainless steel springs When washing, please be careful not to scratch the surface. Avoid using bleaching ingredients and detergent containing abrasives, steel wire balls, abrasive tools, etc. To remove the detergent, rinse the surface with clean water at the end of the washing.

Surface condition and washing method:

Dust and easy to descale---wash with soap or warm water;

Label and film---wipe with warm water and weak detergent;

Binder component---use alcohol or organic solution;

Fat, oil, lubricating oil pollution---wipe dry with a soft cloth or paper and then wash with neutral detergent or ammonia solution or special detergent;

bleaching agent and kind of acid attachment-rinse immediately with water, soak in ammonia or neutral carbonated soda aqueous solution, and then wash with neutral detergent or warm water;

Organic carbide adhesion---soak in hot neutral detergent or ammonia solution and then wash with weak abrasive detergent;

Too many rainbow patterns---caused by using detergent or oil, use mild detergent in warm water when washing;

Welding heat discoloration --- It is easy to wash with 10% nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid, then neutralize with ammonia water and carbonated soda solution and then wash with water --- special washing medicine use;

Rust caused by surface contaminants-wash with 10% nitric acid or abrasive detergent-use special detergents.

Precautions for tension spring processing:

1. The time for pressing important springs is 24 hours, and for ordinary springs is 6 hours. When pressed, the gap between the spring and the mandrel is mainly 10% of the diameter of the mandrel. The gap is too small. It will be very difficult to operate, and if the gap is too large, the spring will bend and deform.

2. Springs without a support ring and springs with fine wire diameters cannot be welded to the spring head, but the steel cable at the end should not be significantly loosened. When it is necessary to weld the multi-strand spring on the head, the length of the welding part It should not exceed 3 times the cable diameter. The heating length also needs to be less than one circle. After the welding is completed, it needs to be polished and smooth. During gas welding, the welding place should be partly annealed at low temperature.

3. Many spring manufacturers generally use ordinary phosphating for the surface treatment of the spring, and some use other methods for treatment. As long as the plating layer is zinc and cadmium, the hydrogen removal treatment should be carried out after electroplating. After the hydrogen is removed, 3% (not less than 3) of the products should be sampled for inspection. The phenomenon of fracture can occur. In addition, if there are dirt, salt marks, and oxide scale on the surface of the spring, it can be treated by sand blowing or gasoline cleaning, but it must not be cleaned with acid.
